Well, we did it---thanks to lots of help and dedication! We are now "open" with limited hours, services, and staff. Our look will be more shabby than chic for a little while, but we're confident that we'll be restored soon. What remains a constant for us is we will not engage in the politics of this matter, and will continue to be a business that has always been committed to treating everyone like a gentleman, or a lady. SATURDAY MAY 16th is our TENTATIVE reopening date as per the Indianapolis Mayor's orders (which, yes-- is currently a few days after the Indiana Governor's orders). We appreciate your patience in waiting until we are allowed to open our doors once again, and are diligently working on our new safety and sanitation procedures, and steps of service.

While things will look and feel a bit differently as we battle our most unwelcome guest named Corona, we guarantee that you can expect the same quality care and hospitality that you've grown to appreciate at Red's. We know your hair and spirits are in need of some extra TLC right now.

Unfortunately folks, this is how things are going these days. However, we are doing our absolute best to meet the needs of our guests & staff, while taking every necessary precaution possible to ensure safety and success. Here is the deal (as of today, but subject to change):

--Now open 8am-6pm from today though Saturday with a maximum of 3 barbers on staff at a time to maintain the guidelines of "no more than 10 people in a gathering at a time".

--ALWAYS CALL AHEAD as your regular barber may not be working their regular schedule!

--CLOSED this SUNDAY and MONDAY, and will evaluate then if future closings are needed .

---Sorry, but NO SHOESHINE or STRAIGHT RAZOR SHAVE SERVICES (steam towels to the face? --no can do, Corona!)

---NO coffee service, magazines or newspapers in waiting area to decrease contact. If 10 people are already in the shop at once, you may be asked to wait outside for your appointment.

--IF you have symptoms of ANY kind, please stay home, and be prepared to answer screening questions on your arrival. Our barbers do not have 6 foot arms (although they have lots of other magical qualities) so you will be in each other's space, so we expect mutual respect and concern for each other.

During the global expansion of the Covid -19 (Corona Virus), we at Red’s Classic Barbershop Co. are committed to the protection of our customers and staff. Our team has implemented additional cleaning procedures, increased hand washing, and are following appropriate social distancing recommendations whenever possible.

In addition to these cautionary actions, we are temporarily discontinuing our Straight Razor Shave service effective 3/15 for as long as we deem necessary.

In order to insure a safe environment for our guests and staff, we also reserve the right to refuse service to individuals displaying any signs of illness. Please be prepared to answer screening questions upon your arrival about potential risks.
